Owula Mangortey writes: Some questions begging for answers as you find solutions to insecurity in Bawku

How do you deal with our elders who have lost control over us but pretend they are still in charge of us?

In Bawku, if you listen carefully, you will hear these questions begging for answers as you seek to restore peace, security, and order:

(1). Why do we continue to shoot, kill, and rob in Bawku even though you have sent well armed soldiers, police, BNI officers, guns, armoured vehicles, drones, and listening devices?

(2). How do you deal with and get rid of our powerful, blood thirsty juju, protective charms, and amulets? When our juju “charges” and needs blood to be poured, we have to kill even innocent women and children. Have you thought about it? How do you deal with it?

(3). How do you get us off hard drugs, which we are pumped up with when we go out to burn houses, shoot, kill, and rob?

(4). How do you deal with our elders who have lost control over us but pretend they are still in charge of us?

(5). How do you deal with those who supply us weapons, drugs, and food but have lost control over us and are afraid that we will kill them ?

I shall return.
