Owusu Bempah makes triumphant entry into his Church

Having stood behind their enchanted pastor, father, et all in his trying moments, church members had every reason to give him that glorious welcome that fateful day

THE BIBLICAL

Like the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, the embattled Apostle, Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, made a triumphant entry into his church auditorium at South Odorkor in Accra last Sunday, September 19, 2021.

The founder, Leader and General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministries International (GWPMI), who had been embroiled in a legal suit and had his freedom curtailed a few days earlier, had regained his freedom. Initially, he was to have spent the whole week, including that fateful Sunday behind police cells.

Subsequently, his regain of freedom and entry into church that day did not only sound re-assuring to his members and ardent congregation but also welcome news indeed!

CHURCH GOES FRENZY

Having stood behind their enchanted pastor, father, et all in his trying moments, church members had every reason to give him that glorious welcome that fateful day; and for well over thirty (30) minutes when he announced his presence, he was greeted with thunderous, deafening cheers and applauses thus making hearing very difficult.

CHURCH OVER FLOWS

Visibly, the spacious church auditorium was not only filled to capacity but also over flowed with many other congregants finding themselves outside. As early as 7:00am, prayer warriors of the church had set themselves up doing their own thing till the resumption of full church service, which was characterized with praises, singing, drumming and dancing, thus sending the church ago throughout the extended service period.

OWUSU BEMPAH THANKS ALL

Upon assumption of the mike, the excited and seemingly unperturbed Apostle thanked all especially his church members who stood firmly behind him in his trying moment. While trying to mention names of pastors, politicians, chiefs, opinion leaders, friends and family members who stood behind him in his trying moments, he was quick to point out that mentioning people one by one in this regard, he would end up-making mistakes. He subsequently expressed his profound gratitude to all and sundry who stood with him all this while indicating that at the appropriate time, he will render this thanks to all deserving persons.

SERMON

Seeming unperturbed, the apostle gave a rather powerful and touching sermon, which according to him, he had started the previous Sunday. Basing his sermon on Esther 6:1-3, with the theme “Wickedness unto the wicked”, Apostle Owusu Bempah recounted the unfolding story between Hamon and Modecai and stated that whoever thinks evil concedes evil in turn.

PROPHECY

Known for his prophetic messages, Rev. Owusu Bempah also took his turn to prophesy about some selected congregants. As these turned out to be precise and accurate, he was greeted with cheers and applauses from his keen, enthused and excited congregants, who urged him on to continue, even when he had requested to end proceedings.
