Party Police vs Professional Police: AriseGhana 2-Day Demo to test integrity of the Ghana Police

Is the Ghana Police Service serving the People of Ghana or serving Political Masters?

I was present and participated in the first meeting with the Greater Accra Regional Police Command through to the last meeting with the Police Command at the Headquarters; I can attest to the high level of professionalism exhibited by the Police until yesterday’s letter communicating an intent to seek a Court Order to restrict the Ghanaians to exercise their Constitutional Rights to Assembly and Demonstrate against the excruciating hardships, profligacy and Corruption…

The same Ghana Police that supervised and protected the Dumsor Demo that lasted till midnight is claiming inability (or incompetence) to provide security for another Demonstration that is scheduled to end much earlier than the Dumsor Demo and Vigil…

Why is the Ghana Police despite the almost one month notification of the AriseGhana Demo fail to plan for the demonstration?

Did the Police plan professionally for the AriseGhana Demo, YET ORDERED FROM ABOVE by jittery politicians who are seeing the momentum of the AriseGhana Demo?

The Police and the Courts must be free from manipulation and must resist Political influence or even the hint of any political bias for our democracy to thrive…

Thankfully the resolve of the AriseGhana leadership has not been shaken and even more Ghanaians from all walks of life, various political parties are endorsing and commiting to join the 2-Day Demo to rescue Ghana and prevent the total collapse of Ghana under the incompetence, corrupt Akufo-Addo government…

The Cathedral, La General Hospital, Tradefair, Ada Songhor Lagoon, Agenda 111, Marine Drive and several multimillion dollar contracts awarded to friends of President Akufo Addo and his family has incensed many Ghanaians and motivated them to join the 2-Day AriseGhana Demo…

The Looting of State Lands, Forest Reserves and Wetlands by President Akufo Addo’s friends, family and their business associates has made even more Ghanaians angry enough to join the AriseGhana DEMO…

There are so many different reasons to join, just find one and join the AriseGhana DEMO…

See you tomorrow Tuesday 28th June and again on Wednesday 29th June as Ghanaians March to the Jubilee House, Finance Ministry through the Cathedral to Parliament to protest against the excruciating hardships, profligacy and corruption.
