The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the release of PIN Codes for trained nurses and midwives from accredited institutions across the country.
Three thousand, five hundred and ninety (3,590) trained nurses and midwives are expected to enrol for the 2024/2025 service year.
A statement issued by the Secretariat said registration commences on Friday, October 4, 2024, and closes on Friday, October 18, 2024.
It further directed, “Eligible candidates can access their PIN codes by logging onto the NSA website (https://www.nss.gov.gh/) and entering their school index number and date of birth.
“After obtaining their PIN code, candidates must proceed to any branch of ADB Bank Ltd. to make a payment of GH¢40.00, or alternatively, through the MTN MoMo platform for GHe41.00, to activate the PIN code.”
Prospective NSS personnel have been urged to be meticulous in completing the enrolment process to avoid errors that could negatively impact the deployment process.
This comes after 106,223 graduates from accredited universities were deployed in September across user agencies to undertake the mandatory service to the nation.
