The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced that the Presidential and Parliamentary ballot papers are yet to be printed.
This is in response to concerns that the Commission did not provide ballot statistics before the printing.
“We would like to assure the General Public that printing of ballot papers has not commenced. Printing of Notices of Poll for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, however, begins on Friday, 11th October, 2024.”
It further assured that statistics on the ballot papers will be provided to the relevant stakeholders as has been the status quo.
It added, “We urge the Public and all Stakeholders to trust the Electoral Commission to deliver transparent, credible, free and fair elections in December 2024.”
