Prosper in the Name of Jesus – Bishop Affum blesses Christians

Bishop Affum made this known in an exclusive interview with this medium at his church premises recently giving the background to the word prosperity

Bishop Stephen Affum, Leader, Founder and General Overseer of Agents for Christ Mission Embassy at Juaboso in the Western North region has urged Christians to endeavour to do good in all that they do so as to enable them prosper in this year and beyond.

He noted that prosperity is never obtained on silver platter from God, but through His only begotten son, Jesus.

Bishop Affum made this known in an exclusive interview with this medium at his church premises recently giving the background to the word prosperity; Bishop Affum took the pains to school people on the word “PROSPERITY”. He stated that the “P” starting the word, stands for Partnership with God, Quoting II Corinthians 1:9, R in the word stands for “Relationship with God and others, citing Heb. 12:14, O stands for Obedience to God, Exo. 19:5, Jer. 7:23, “S’ stands for Service to God and mankind. The “P” in the middle of the word stands for Prayer without ceasing, “E” for evangelism, citing Mark 6:7, 16: 5, “R” stands for Resist the devil, citing James 4:7, “I” for internal life, which must lead to one’s prosperity, Matt. 6:33, T for tithing and Offering, Mal. 3:10 and Y for Yield not to temptation James 1:12-15, Joshua 7:21.

Bishop Affum pointed out that this is the key to prosperity and success in 2022 and beyond, provided one followed and practiced it religiously. He indicated that other messages come via revelation because they turn out to be divine and spiritual. The Bishop added that three (3) years of the existence of the church God has rendered uncountable miracles, signs and wonders there. These include madness, stroke, blindness, Barrenness, Chronic and Stubborn diseases and all manner of spiritual ailments and problems. These, he said, attracted instant healing depending upon the recipient’s faith and belief.

I AM HERE TO PREACH JESUS, NOT TO GLORIFY SIN- APOSTLE GERSHION

Taking his turn, Apostle Gershion Gbedemah, the General Overseer of the Havilah City of Prayer International Ministry, maintained that he is out there to proclaim and preach Jesus but not to glorify sin. He indicated that, that is why his theme for 2022 is “Jesus is the Name, Jesus is Here”, “I am here to declare Jesus, not to glorify sin. I am glad I belong to Jesus; I belong to my God, who is good all time! “Apostle Gershion exclaimed. He argued that sin has been with man from Adam’s time and people have been talking about it ever since, yet it keeps on soaring by the day. So why then, the need to talk about it to give it glorification? he asked rhetorically.

Apostle Gershion wondered the need for him to waste his time talking about drunkenness, when drinks of all manners are produced on daily and commercial basis, with their unbridled consumption, while also enhancing employment!

He maintained that when one gets to know Jesus properly he will naturally abstain from his sinful and bad ways and turn for the better. He indicated that when one is in proper relationship with Jesus, whatever good thing he asks of God through him, will be granted.

DON’T WAIL OVER DELAYED BLESSING

Apostle Gershion noted that God is not sluggish or deaf to blessing His children. But it’s their own ways which delay their blessings. He was however quick to point out that certain quick blessings can lead one astray from God’s ways, Hence the seeming delay in such blessings. Such blessings, he noted could even lead to accidents and deaths. Therefore Christians should hasten slowly in their quest of blessings from God, Since He blesses people in his own time, hence the saying, “God’s Time is the Best”.

BLESS ME GOD.

The Apostle, on the theme “Bless Me God”, pointed out that God is ever faithful and merciful to bless his children, provided they go by His rules and laws. He indicated however that God’s blessing is subjected to the recipient blessings and prosperity via connectivity. He maintained that if one serves God faithfully, he is bound to receive His favour, grace, protection et all for exponential growth. All the same, God’s blessings do not follow that one will not encounter problems. Christians, he urged, should not follow the band wagon.
