President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians that the territorial integrity of the country is in safe hands amidst worrying insurgence of terrorists across the West African region.
“Mr Speaker, I am glad to be able to report that the entire territory that
makes up our nation is safe, secure and under the control of the
government and people of Ghana”.
The president gave the assurance before the country’s lawmakers as he presents a message on the state of the nation in accordance with article 67 of the 1992 constitution.
