The Agbogbomefia of Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV has raised concerns over the Agyapadie Document.
The Agyapadie Document captures plans for what it describes as the Akyem Mafia’s move to capture the country.
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has questioned the authenticity of the document indicating that it is a fabrication by his opponents to put him in a bad light.
“This baseless accusation is yet another example of the malicious tactics used to undermine my credibility and integrity,” the President stated.
But speaking during the visit of John Dramani Mahama to his palace, Togbe Afede XIV indicated that “more recently we are hearing something called Agyapadie and sadly, my company is also mentioned in that book. My small Strategic African Security is also mentioned in that book. I find it difficult to believe that is a genuine document, but of course, certain things that we go through give us thoughts to the contrary.”
