The Editor,
The Chronicle
Dear Sir
We act for and on behalf of our client Dr. Frank Kofi Frempong dated the October 2018 and Publication captioned ’54 year-OLD SNR FORESTORY OFFICER NABBED FOR DEFRAUDING GHANA MUSLIM MISSION’ reported by one Diana M. Kode has been referred to us for action.
The said publication has been circled in the print and electronic media which publication is no many media websites. Our client has never defrauded the complainants.
It is true that our client through Vision 2050 Forestry Company limited of which he is the Executive Chairman executed Moringa Plantation project with the complainants at Beposo and within the Bepose Stool lands in the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana.
The complainants maliciously drove our client away from the project when harvesting was about to begin and as we speak complainants are harvesting the moringa and selling same whilst they continue to harass our client with the support of the unseen faces in the corridors of power.
It is never, never true that our client collected an amount of five million, one hundred and twenty six thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS6, 126, 000.00) from the Ghana Muslim Mission and one million, five hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GHS1, 500, 000.00) from Sheikh/Dr Amin Bonsu as you published.
Your publication has sought to deliberately and maliciously sought to and have tarnished the hard won reputation of our client. Your action was deliberate and criminal to please your paymasters.
Ethical journalism and common sense makes it obligatory for you to at least listen to the version of the person who is being accused of which you have woefully failed to do. We are ready to give you the full details of our version with supporting documents.
In the meantime we will strongly urge you to retract the said malicious publication and publish the retraction with the same prominence as you did with the earlier publication.
You have fourteen (14) days to retract or we shall or me have the full instruction of our client to legally protract the rights of our client to restore his reputation
Be advised accordingly
Yours sincerely
Thomas K. Aubyn
