Respect Covi-19 Safety Protocols – Mawuena Akpebu advises Schools

The Founder and Leader of One Finger Foundation Mawuena Akpebu, has advised final year students of the various basic schools in the country to adhere strictly to all the Covid-19 safety protocols to protect lives as they prepare for their Final Examination. The dynamic philanthropist made the call at the donation of some Covid-19 prevention items to the Takla Tokor E.P Basic School in the Volta.

The One Finger Foundation supports educational, skill training, and gender development programmes in the Ho Municipal. The organization has over the period donated educational materials such as books, football jerseys, and many more to poor and deprived communities in the Ho municipality.

The donation of Veronica Buckets, hand sanitizers, face masks to the Takla Tokor Basic Schools was part of the organization’s support to the school in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

The leader of the organization, Mawuena Akpebu, revealed that the organization is determined to support vulnerable communities in the country during this era of the Covid-19 pandemic with education on the safety protocols to curb the spread of the virus.

“This donation is part of our efforts to help the school prevent any coronavirus infections and most importantly educate pupils to respect all the safety protocols to prevent the infection in the community, we will continue to educate communities as part of our contribution to curbing the virus” he explained.

Mr. Akpebu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all friends and family that in diverse ways have supported the organization in reaching out to the poor and vulnerable since its birth.

“I am very much indebted to some family, friends, and partners that have been supportive of all the works we do to better the lives of the communities we work with,” he emphasized

The team members took turns educating the pupils on the various protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing.

The headteacher of the school, Richard Hadzi was grateful for the gesture and assured the One Finger Foundation that, the items will be put to good use to protect the wellbeing of the pupils.
