I am not writing to raise rubble or begin a war, but the urgency of an admonition and a reminder to my dear brother, Ambassador Sa’id Sinare, is compelling enough to warrant a few minutes of my time in the way of ALLAH. I feel very pained that this honourable brother of mine will go for the wrong jugular knowing that the prey he is attacking is his own brother. Yes, his brother! Qur’an Chapter 49 (Al Hujarat) verse 10 says, “Surely the believers are none but brothers unto one another, so set things right between your brothers, and have fear of Allah that you may be shown mercy.”
I am particularly concerned because the insult he launched at Dr Mahmood Bawumia is referred to in Arabic as “buhtan wa ifk”, a grievous, mischievous, and wrongful accusation based on the mere figment of his imagination. NO, DR BAWUMIA NEITHER EATS PORK NOR DOES HE DRINK ALCOHOL! Besides, who are you to usurp an attribute that ALLAH particularly reserved for HIMSELF? How do you sum up courage as to judge that one is not a Muslim or a good one at all? Dear Sa’id, your father was an honourable man and you come for a scholarly family, so what has come over you that you seek to denigrate the achievements of your ancestors by going rogue? I am not going to make references to the drunkenness and lewdness of your flagbearer, who you should be advising, but, of course in due time, I will take him to the cleaners, in shaa ALLAH.
This is not the first time you and your immediate circles have attacked Dr Bawumia. In 2016, you claimed that NPP would never elect a Muslim, but a few years later, you were shamed when the NPP elected him as the flagbearer in an unprecedented historic landslide victory. Don’t forget that your sister, name withheld, in 2016, also, stated that if there is ALLAH, NPP will never win the elections! How desperate can one become as to make such extreme and provocative statements to incur the ire of ALLAH? NPP came to power in two resounding victories, so does she now claim that there is no ALLAH?
I am not going to be verbose with my submission except to advise you to swallow the bitter pill and apologise. I will begin with an apology for an article I wrote against you in December of 2016 after Nana Akufo-Addo was declared President elect of our dear country, Ghana. I sincerely retract and apologise unequivocally. This does not take away my dignity, it rather fortifies it, so do same to Dr Bawumia if you are truly a good Muslim and submissive to ALLAH.
I will end with a reminder for all of us from Qur’an Chapter 73 verse 20, “Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you shall find it with Allah. That is better and its reward is greater. And ask for ALLAH’s forgiveness; surely HE is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate.”
