FC Samartex 1996 have paid tribute to their former coach Felix Kobbleh Tamakloe who died on Monday, October 21, 2024.
The head coach of the Division One side Swedru All Blacks gave up the ghost at the 37 Military Hospital where he was receiving medical attention.
His club confirmed his death in a statement before Samartex issued a statement to hail his contribution to their status in the Ghana Premier League today.
“Coach Tamakloe was an integral member of our technical staff and worked tirelessly with unwavering dedication to help us attain our cherished status in the Ghana Premier League. Throughout his tenure with FC Samartex, the late tactician demonstrated unmatched commitment, passion and professionalism.”
It also highlighted his contributed effort towards the club’s successes and achievements.
In a statement, Swedru All Blacks called his passing a “tremendous” loss as it condoled with the bereaved family.
“As we mourn this tremendous loss, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all those who were impacted by his leadership and friendship.”
It further emphasized that he will be forever missed while his legacy in the football arena will always stand tall.
Coach Tamakloe previously handled Skyy FC and Sekondi Hasaacas.
