As part of his pursuit to develop the human resource capacity in the his constituency and also to encourage more students to study the Sissali/Dagaare language, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sissala West constituency, Hon Mohammed Adams Sukparu has in consultation with other stakeholders initiated a partial scholarship scheme for indigenes from the area.
Subsequently, the MP has announced that all prospective students who want to study Sissali/Dagaare as a course at the University of Education, Winneba, for the 2021/2022 academic year, would be given partial sponsorship packages.

A release issued issued from the Office of the MP on Monday and copied to ghananewsonline.com.gh the MP appealed to all Chiefs, Parents, and other Opinion Leaders in the area to encourage potential applicants to choose Bachelor of Arts in Sissali/Dagaare Education so as to help realize the full potentials of the Programs.
It however emphasized that “This partial sponsorship is limited to Constituents of Sissala West for the time being”.

SISSALA WEST MP’S SPONSORSHIP FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS INTO THE STUDY OF SISSALI/DAGAARE EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Member of Parliament for Sissala West Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu wishes to announce to all prospective students who want to study Sissali/Dagaare as a course at the University of Education, Winneba, for the 2021/2022 academic year, that there will be a partial sponsorship package for such students in the constituency.
As part of his quest to develop the human resource in the Constituency and also to encourage more students to study Sissali/Dagaare the MP in consultation with other stakeholders has decided to absorbed all admission fees for students who will gain admission to offer the courses.
The MP is therefore appealing to all Chiefs, parents, and other opinion leaders to encourage potential applicants to choose Bachelor of Arts in Sissali/Dagaare Education to help to realize the full potentials of the Programs.
