… NPP Youths warn Regional Minister, Regional Chairman and Vice, and Naa Torshie to avoid meddling in the affairs of Tema West Constituency
A group of Youth in the Tema West Constituency affiliated to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), calling itself the Concerned Youth of Tema West (CYTW), has called on NPP National Executives to caution the Regional Minister, Hon. Ishmael Ashitey, Regional Chairman Divine Agorhum, Regional second Vice Chairperson Joan Ada and Madam Irene Naa Torshie to stop scheming and planting Negative Stories in the media against Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah.
Carlos Ahenkorah is the current Member of Parliament (MP) for the area who has been duly elected again to contest the position in the name of the NPP.

At a Press Conference, jointly addressed by its Chairman, David Appiah, secretary Nana Kwaku Nimo and organizer Joyce Ago Vivor, the group disclosed among others that
“We are reliably informed about all their plans to make Carlos unpopular and later send a petition to the National Council and NEC to get him changed. This agenda is orchestrated and sponsored by Agorhum, Ashitey, Joana and Torshie.
“But we want to assure them, we the Youth of Tema West are solidly behind our Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Candidate Hon. Kingsley Carlos Ahenkorah,” they added.
It is on record that the Greater Accra Regional Chairman has never liked Carlos Ahenkorah because it is believed, Carlos did not support his bid to become the regional Chairman. It is alleged that through his wife he sponsored a candidate to contest Hon. Carlos during the just ended Parliamentary Primaries but the candidate lost miserably.
The 2nd Vice Chairperson, Joana Ada also allegedly supported and sponsored one Kwasi Poku, another candidate who had only 177 votes out of the 910 total valid votes cast.
“We are sending a strong warning to them to stay away from, Carlos. Internal elections are over! What crime has the man committed for them to hate him so much”?, they quizzed.
