Sunyani Technical University Launches Probe into Alleged ‘Sex-for-Grades’ Scandal

The Sunyani Technical University (STU) finds itself embroiled in a controversy following the publication of an explosive exposé titled ‘Exposed: Sex-Hungry Lecturers’ in the media.

Allegations of a sex-for-grade scandal, brought to light by Mr. Owusu Agyekum, a former Student Representative Council (SRC) President of the institution, have prompted swift action from the university’s administration.

In response to the grave accusations, Professor Kwadwo Adinkrah-Appiah, the Vice-Chancellor, took immediate steps to address the situation. In a press release Professor Adinkrah-Appiah underscored the gravity of the matter and affirmed the university’s commitment to handling it with the utmost seriousness.
