The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has challenged the National Labour Commission (NLC) to instead proceed to court if it thinks their strike is illegal.
Mr Isaac Owusu, the Central Regional chairman of the Association told Elmina based Benya FM on Wednesday.
According to him, “the labour commission should know better….illegal issues are not settled in the media; they should go to court or they think we are cowards?”
Mr Isaac Owusu who had already called on Mr Michael Nsowah, chairman of GES council, to render an unqualified apology to the three teacher unions over comments he is reported to have made on Accra based Adom FM fumed that until the arrears of their members are paid, they would not call off their strike.
