Terror attack: Ghana’s security on high alert ahead of Dec. 31st Church Services

Ghana’s security services have picked intelligence that some faceless persons are plotting a series of terror attacks on churches during 31st December all-night services, Dailymailgh.com can reveal.

High ranking Ghanaian security sources have confirmed all the security agencies including the army, the police and the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) have been placed on red alert to avert any security breaches.

Dailymailgh.com can confirm that the top hierarchy of the security services will be meeting the Christian Council and high profile Christian preachers and teachers today, December 31st, 2019 ahead of their services tonight to fashion out measures to ensure smooth worship.

Christians will be gathering at vantage locations on December 31 to usher in the New Year at midnight.

Security is expected to beef up at the Black Star Square, Action Chapel, and the Perez Chapel, in particular, sources disclosed.

“We’re on red alert and Ghanaians can be assured of going about their duties without fear,” a security source told Dailymailgh.com.

Ghana has been relatively peaceful over the past decades in a region characterized by political instability and terror threats.

In late November this year, Ghana and Togo carried out a joint operation to rid both countries of suspected criminals and terrorists. At least 170 suspects were arrested in the swoop.
