The La Traditional Council’s Last Day…

PUBLIC NOTICE: Some persons are committing crimes or defrauding others using letterheads captioned "La Stool" or "La State" letterheads

Officially the La Traditional Council will TODAY 26TH SEPTEMBER, 2024 stop meeting until a New La Mantse is installed…

It will be recalled that by a letter dated 9th SEPTEMBER, the Chieftaincy Ministry through the Registrar of the Regional House of Chiefs announced the 26TH September deadline.

The La Traditional Council had been used to commit various offences including the illegal sale of Lands.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament,  Rt. Hon. Freddy Blay had publicly stated that his son bought the Labadi Beach Hotel Beachfront from the La Traditional Council contrary to the Supreme Court ruling that categorically stated the La Traditional Council had no Capacity to deal in lands.

Various documents have since gone viral, confirming that some members of the La Traditional Council had indeed sold or dealt in many land transactions using multiple letterheads deemed fraudulent.

In the coming days, there is expected to be a FORENSIC AUDIT OF THE LA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL, particularly transactions after the death of the La Mantse Nii Kpobi Tettey Tsuru III.

The audit will other activities such as the La Homowo festival and several entities including the East La Dadekotopon Development Trust, Laboma Beach, and the Labadi Pleasure Beach Resort.

All monies due to the La Stool will be lodged in an ESCROW ACCOUNT at the La Bank until the installation of a new La Mantse.

There are some attempts by some persons to exploit the current situation to defraud prospective land buyers or Fraudulently dispose of Stool Property or dishonestly brevieve revenue accruing to the Stool…

Persons who allow themselves to be duped under the guise of these individuals should note that La Stool will not accept any liability.

ALL ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE RESTRAINT until A NEW LA MANTSE hailing from the appropriate family lineage and bloodline is enstooled.
