The rap game in Ghana has become dull because of my absence – Amerado

Amerado plans to release new tracks to make the game active once again, promising that he’s coming back stronger than ever.

Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, best known as Amerado in the music industry, has announced his comeback after a short break.

Amerado, who recently won the Best Rap Performance award at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, believes that the rap game in Ghana has become dull due to his absence.

In a social media post, the Menp3 hitmaker expressed his love for his fellow rappers but stated that they seemed to be sleeping and not working to represent the rap industry effectively.

Amerado plans to release new tracks to make the game active once again, promising that he’s coming back stronger than ever.

Known for his hit songs such as “Obiaa Boa,” “Best Rapper,” “Abotr3,” and “Menp3,” Amerado gained popularity through his YouTube rap series called ‘Yeteensem,’ which consistently garnered high views every week.

Recently, the Obiaa Boa hitmaker released an album titled ‘God Is Never Asleep’ (GINA), consisting of ten tracks including “Back To Sender,” “666,” “Nyame Dada,” “Pay Me,” “Got You,” and more.

The album features notable artists such as Fameye, Efya, Epixode, Eno Barony, among others.
