Top Ghanaian Cyclist Anthony Boakye volunteers at Paris 2024

Anthony Boakye, the France Volontaires’ ambassador for Ghana also had the honor of representing Ghana during a meeting organized by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Quai d'Orsay.

Sunyani based Ghana National Cyclist, Anthony Boakye, is part of the nine young incredible and talented sports athletes to be chosen for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games volunteering program.

The finest Cyclist Anthony Boakye got selected by the French Embassy  to represent Ghana as a Volunteer for the Olympic Games in Paris.

Fofogan Duku, a representative from the French Embassy says the Paris 2024 adventure continues for Anthony, a Ghanaian volunteer for the Paris 2024 volunteering program.

He will be hosted in Caen (France) by the Ufolep association, for a one-year International Solidarity Volunteering (VSI) mission.

He stated that, Boakye is disciplined and his love for the sports has earned him this great opportunity from the French embassy . “Bravo to him for his commitment and passion for sports, and we wish him an excellent mission and an unforgettable experience in France.

Boakye, the France Volontaires’ ambassadors for Paris 2024  was invited to the Quai d’Orsay] as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Volunteering Program;

Anthony Boakye, the France Volontaires’ ambassador for Ghana also had the honor of representing Ghana during a meeting organized by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Quai d’Orsay.

This meeting brought together volunteers mobilized for Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné, the General Secretary Anne-Marie Descôtes, the team of France Volontaires represented by the Managing Director Yann Delaunay, and representatives of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Committees.

The French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Jules-Armand Aniambossou, delivered warm speeches celebrating the strong relationship between the two countries.

Anthony Boakye has won the prestigious SWAG Cyclist of the year as well as big accolades from other African counties.
