TOTAL RESET: Kelli Gadzekpo, Afenyo-Markin, Dubik Mahama, Others to be Arrested?

Ghanaians still support the arrest, investigation, and prosecution of anybody involved in these heinous crimes against the State and fully endorse the President's statement that he will not countenance nor shield anybody regardless of political affiliation or social status.

A full-scale enquiry into the ECG MESS must definitely result in the arrest, interrogation, and prosecution of many people from the Board through Management to staff and accomplices who aided the mess.

Similarly, no meaningful War on Galamsey will exclude the arrest, interrogation and prosecution of John Peter Amewu, Kweku Asoma-Cheremeh, Samuel Abu Jinapor, George Mireku Duker, Benito Owusu-Bio, Martin Ayisi, John Allotey and many others including Chairman Wontumi, Kate Gyamfuah, the accomplices of Sir John and all those named in the Prof. Frimpong-Boateng Galamsey Report.

Unravelling the Land Loot must be holistically done; several past and present officials of the Lands Commission, Lands Ministry, as well as the Works and Housing Ministry, must be arrested, interrogated, and prosecuted together with the beneficiaries of the Looting who must return the Loot.

Unexplained wealth must not be countenanced if the Fight against Corruption and Galamsey is to be won, especially as the proceeds of these crimes are laundered through Land and Real Estate transactions, as clearly established in the Adu-Boahen and Cecilia Dapaa case among others.

All the plush apartments, condominiums, and Mansions springing up in the Prime areas, especially on State state-acquired lands or where State Bungalows once stood, must be thoroughly investigated.

The Government must publish the status of all State Acquired Lands and Bungalows ahead of the promised Presidential Enquiry into the Looted or Stolen State Lands, Bungalows and Expropriation of GaDangme Lands.

Ghanaians overwhelmingly supported the Operation Recover All Loot and the use of Public Tribunals to bring the plunderers and Looters to swift justice.

Ghanaians still support the arrest, investigation, and prosecution of anybody involved in these heinous crimes against the State and fully endorse the President’s statement that he will not countenance nor shield anybody regardless of political affiliation or social status.

Ghanaians have noted the attempt by some persons, particularly NPP MPs and Pseudo Neutral CSOs to scuttle investigations into some crimes, shielding some suspects and using the courts to prevent their arrest and prosecution.

The supposedly sick Ken Ofori-Atta’s attempt to block his arrest, investigation, and prosecution by suing State investigative agencies and injunctioning them from declaring him wanted and demanding the deletion from their records any trace of his status or criminal record is nauseating.

Is anyone immune from arrest and prosecution?

The State Capture will be reversed and Ken Ofori-Atta’s empire built over the past eight years on the back if Ghanaians taxes, insurance money, earnings on his binge borrowing spree that has left Ghana Bankrupt and heavily debt distressed while his Databank and Enterprise Group flourishes will have to be dismantled like he did to the empires of some people over the same period.

Ken Ofori-Atta’s assets and bank accounts must be frozen as he is forced to return to Ghana to face Prosecution.

Ken Ofori-Atta and Kelli Gadzekpo own a tax Avoidance Company in the Cayman Islands, which was exposed by an international investigation, which report was published in the Panama Papers…

THE PDS SCANDAL and the private reasons for the resignation of Kelli Gadzekpo as ECG Board Chairman before Afenyo-Markin’s appointment and the private reasons for the resignation of Samuel Dubik Mahama as Managing Director of ECG must be made public, if Ghanaians are to understand the mess at ECG, the debt they are being made to pay and the theft happening at ECG, least of which is the over 1300 Missing Container Scandal cum recycling of Cables to be repurchased by ECG.

The President and the Attorney-General must be commended for their open and transparent posture which aims at carrying Ghanaians along the journey of recovery of the Loot with periodic public briefings at which the media ask relevant questions.

Ghanaians hope the sittings of the Fast Track Public Tribunals and Special Courts will be broadcast live and streamed on social media so they can follow the prosecution of the Galamseyers, Plunderers, and Looters.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

Anybody who has wrongfully taken anything must be exposed, the Loot retrieved, and the perpetrators arrested and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.

The State must adopt a Zero-Tolerance stance on the phenomenon of Money Laundering.

Dr. Addison and his deputies together with the known Galamseyers like Kate Gyamfuah who were fraudulently allocated at ridiculous prices the prime Cantonments State Lands originally acquired for the use of the Civil Aviation Authority, must be immediately arrested, interrogated and together with those who partook in the loot prosecuted whiles the State take back the Loot.

The vast prime lands taken over by Bediako, Berchie, and others must be thoroughly investigated and culprits severely punished to serve as a deterrent to others.

The State must halt all construction work currently underway at such places to show seriousness to the directives issued by the President to the Lands Commission and Lands Ministry in relation to States Acquired Lands.

Notable among these is the massive Airport City-2 prime lands which encloses 37 DVLA, Police Workshop and the adjoining Military installations, including the Base Ordinance Depot as well as the transportation hub of the 37 Taxi and Trotro Stations.

Why did the Lands Commission use its budget to relocate the 37 DVLA office to Haatso?

Why were the Police relocated to Haatso?

Why were the Military relocated to Kpletso?

WHO HAS BEEN ALLOCATED THAT VAST PRIME LANDS?

WHO ALLOCATED THAT VAST LAND, AND HOW MUCH DID HE COLLECT?

Ghanaians want to know these, and nobody must try to obstruct the SUNSHINE PRESS CONFERENCES by the Attorney-General, the President, and his Appointees as the Operation Recover All Loot enters the new phase of Exposés, Arrests, Interrogations, Investigations, and Prosecutions.

Together, let’s RESET GHANA and build the GHANA WE WANT.

Nobody is above the law, even Former President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia can be prosecuted as stated by the Constitution.

Ghana can and will get out of the IMF programme, never to return, IF THE operation to RECOVER ALL THE LOOT succeeds.

LET’S ALL SUPPORT PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA TO RECOVER ALL THE LOOT.

Any attempt to make the country ungovernable must be resisted by all…

Indeed, the New Government has brought a wave of fresh air and its consultative posture in gratifying.

The choked public sector was deliberately further choked by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government prior to leaving office by making many last-minute appointments, knowing the government cannot pay…

The ongoing Staff Rationalization programme may result in some immediate layoffs, but when the right size of the Public and Civil Service is determined together with the institution of the positive productivity-indexed work ethic, the staff levels can be tripled to coincide with the 24-hour Economy, which will be sustainable.

Let’s bear with the temporary inconvenience and rather join in the rapid retrieval of the Loot from the Looters and Plunderers so Ghana can move forward faster together on this new path to prosperity for all, not a greedy few privileged persons, their families, friends, and business associates.

GOD BLESS OUR HOMELAND GHANA even as we review our Constitution and help us to RESET THE EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATURE and JUDICIARY…

AMEN.

PS: The former Works and Housing Ministers, Asenso Boakye and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, must answer how State Bungalows were given away like confetti while government workers, including top officials, cannot be accommodated by the State.

The Government must publish the status of all State Bungalows.
