Vilahamn, 41, initially joined Spurs last summer from BK Hacken on a two-year deal after spending his whole career in his native Sweden.
He was offered a new contract as a reward for his impressive first season after guiding the club to a maiden Women’s FA Cup final, which they lost to Manchester United, and sixth place in the Women’s Super League. “To sign a new contract with the Club feels amazing,” Vilahamn said.
“As a new coach in this country, I needed results so people would buy into what I was saying so it was really nice to see that we played good football, scored some beautiful goals but, once again, it’s just the beginning.
“We started our time getting to know each other so these years to come are going to show how we take this team to the top.”
Tottenham begin their WSL campaign against newly promoted Crystal Palace on the weekend of 21-22 September.
