Travis Greene And His Ghanaian Wife Celebrate Eight Years Of Marriage

Renowned American Gospel Artiste Travis Greene never misses an opportunity to talk about his family and celebrate his wife, Dr. Jacqueline Abenaa Adansi Gyamfi Greene. As the name implies, Jacqueline is an African American of Ghanaian origin.

During his performance at The Experience 12, in Lagos, Nigeria in 2017, he invited his wife on stage and introduced her to the audience and said West Africa has beautiful women and the best Jollof Rice.

On his Instagram handle on Monday the 16th of December, he posted a tribute to his wife as she marked her birthday. He spoke about the significance of her wife’s birthday to him and the family.

“Today was one of the greatest ever! Not only was it your birthday, but our baby JonJon was presented to God and I had the amazing privilege of renewing my vows to you.

“You are worth much more than I could ever give, but I will spend the rest of our lives attempting to let you know how loved you are and how grateful I am!”

From his words, one could simply conclude that his love for his wife is greater than his love for music.

During his performance at The Experience 14, 2019 in Lagos, after over 30 mins of intense worship, he invited his wife on stage as he had done in the past. He introduced his wife saying “My beloved beautiful Ghanaian Jollof-cooking wife is here…” at the event he announced to Africans that God had blessed him with a 7-month-old son.

“I have a five-year-old now and a three-year-old now and a seven-month-old now. God has been so good to us. He’s been so good because He’s a good Father.”

While he expressed his excitement on his renewal of vows, he says, “When I proposed to you almost 9 years ago, I gave you a ring that I could afford. It wasn’t much, but you treated it like it was priceless. I always told you that when I could do better, I would. I hope this new ring shows you just how much you mean to me. I love you eternally without conditions! Happy Birthday baby

On the 18th of December, he penned a paean of praise to his wife for standing by him even when he had so little to offer.

“Through the years, you’ve challenged me to be the best man that I could possibly be. yet, you never made me feel like less than a man for not having enough to give a Queen who deserved everything.”

Travis and Jacqueline Greene got married in December 2011.
