I believe your decision to select the University of Buckingham, as a venue for this lecture- *Realising Democratic Divedend:A Commonwealth Imperative* , and also to launching your campaign for the post of *Commonwealth Secretary-General* is not by accident, but rather as a result of the university’s *INTERNATIONALISTIC* nature, and bilateral relations between Ghana and the UK, who are key players within the commonwealth.” He said.
“Besides, the University of Buckingham is also looking into collaborations with some government agencies and universities in Ghana.” He added.

Your Excellencies, Hon Ministers, VC, ladies and gentlemen, all protocols, observed.
YE,
On behalf of the Ghanaian students and all other nationals who are here present or listening to us from afar, I humbly welcome you to the University of Buckingham.
YE, we are very happy and proud to have you here. Your presence here speaks volumes, and
I believe your decision to select the University of Buckingham, as a venue for this lecture- *Realising Democratic Divedend:A Commonwealth Imperative* , and also to launching your campaign for the post of *Commonwealth Secretary-General* is not by accident, but rather as a result of the university’s *INTERNATIONALISTIC* nature, and bilateral relations between Ghana and the UK, who are key players within the commonwealth.
YE, the University of Buckingham maintains healthy relationships with Ghanaian students and provides them with high-quality educational training.
YE, Ladies and Gentlemen, it might interest you to note that the University of Buckingham has trained many of our compatriots who are currently making it big both at home and abroad. The names are many, but I will mention a few of them: Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia (Veep- Ghana), Hon. Afenyo Markins (Majority leader of the Ghanaian parliament), Dela Sky *Citi FM), Dr Nyame Baafi (office of the Veep), Dr Kojo Pumpuni Asante (CDD) and many more.
Currently, we have a significant number of Ghanaian students pursuing a variety of degrees, ranging from foundational courses MA, to PhD programmes.
Besides, the University of Buckingham is also looking into collaborations with some government agencies and universities in Ghana.
So, clearly, you are in the right place for this event; and I believe coming here is a blessing for all of us; we support you; and will be part of your journey. Our prayer for you is to get the nod and serve commonwealth nations diligently.
YE, thank you once again for coming to the University of Buckingham. We want you to feel at home, because you have a big family here. Be assured that the University of Buckingham is your home away from home.
I thank you, and God bless us all!
