Unlimited Cancer Care International, UCCI, is leaving no stone unturned in its frantic efforts at mobilizing the needed support to persons going through diverse forms of cancers in the United States and across Africa.
To this end, UCCI has held a series of pragmatic meetings with businesses, institutions, corporations, and philanthropic non-profit organizations and individuals in the Ohio city of Columbus, United States.
On February 26, the President and Founder of US-based UCCI, Agivert Jackson, joined over 90 exhibitors at this year’s Multi-Chamber Business Expo & After-Hours event held at The Estate at New Albany.
The event, one of the biggest business networking events of the year, brought together over 90 exhibitors, fellow professionals, businesses, and community members from Johnstown, Pataskala, and New Albany Chamber of Commerce for what turned out to be a charged evening of massive community connections.
Ms. Jackson, who was satisfied with the event, indicated that ” UCCI is glad to be a part of this year’s extraordinary event because in my opinion the objectives for this, which includes, to discover local businesses and services, make valuable business and community connections, explore job opportunities and partnerships, among others were achieved to the core”.
“At UCCI, a fledgling non-profit organization that we are, we are determined to maximize every available opportunity to strengthen our resolve towards solidifying our base to enable us to continue to support humanity, especially in the area of our concern, helping fight cancers” she added.
According to the President and Founder, the opportunities and connections garnered at the event are precious platforms for the growth of UCCI.
Adding that, “such opportunities are rare. They hardly happen, and so when they do happen, it’s important to grab same and make the most out of them. UCCI is richer for this Multi-Chamber Business Expo & After-hours event. ”
She said, going forward, UCCI is getting ready to roll out its programmes and activities for its missions within the US and in Ghana for this year.
“Last year, we had a massive outreach programme in Ghana where we supported communities with cancer screenings, made donations to needy homes and individuals, visited and supported hospitals, schools and libraries with a pledge to commit more to other institutions in need this year. The focus is to do more this year” Ms. Jackson said.
