The Founder, the Leader, and General Overseer of Havilah City of Prayer International Ministry, Rev. Gershon Gbedemah, has observed that Ghanaians need the preservation of God in this COVID-19 period.
He noted that though protocols on the pandemic are good, they are not enough.
“Only God can preserve us in these trying moments,” Rev. Gershon stated this in an interview with ghananewsonline.com.gh last week at Juaboso in the Western North Region.
Citing Psalms 91:7, Rev. Gershon indicated that those who know their God and hold on to him in times of need will forever succeed. He pointed out that there had been more dangerous things than COVID-19 but humanity had survived all the same.
Rev. Gershon noted for his precision and accuracy of prophecies, predicted that COVID-19 would soon be a fiasco and thing of the past because the purpose for which it came had been defeated by the various numerous prayers, the world over.
Don’t Touch Churches, Leave them to Operate Freely
Rev. Gershon charged governments all over the world not to touch churches because they are the light of the world, to which people tend in times of troubles and afflictions such as the COVID-19 pandemic and even wars. He maintained that whoever touches the church is bound to fail.
Markets Socio-Political Events Operate Freely
Rev. Gershon was sad to point out that whereas churches in Ghana have been restricted to hundred (100) worshippers per hour with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. The activities of markets and other events such as socio-political ones take place without adherence to laid down a protocol on the pandemic, with the authorities not caring a hoot about it. “This is sad!”, he bemoaned.
The man–of–God expressed concern about the on-going voters’ registration, which had generated much animosity and confusion in the country and suggested a halt to it since it could be a recipe of more confusion and chaos in the rather tensed country.

He maintained that if care was not taken with regard to this registration, which had obtained both physical and spiritual dimensions, the results could be disastrous for the country. He charged Ghanaians to pray fervently for the 2020 general elections, taking into consideration the happenings during this voter’s registration.
He predicted that there could be a run-off in the 2020 elections, so Ghanaians should not sleep but pray fervently.
