The constituency and Branch women organizers for the NDC in the Bono Region has urged the President to appoint the NDC Bono Regional Women Organizer, Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakar, as the Municipal Chief Executive for the Berekum East Municipality else we want waste our time during campaign as berekum east ( MMDCE) list still remain pending at the office of president John Mahama.

During a press conference held at the Berekum East Constituency by a coalition of NDC women organizers across the Bono Region, Hon. Hajia Aseta Banda, the Dormaa West Constituency Women Organizer, addressed the media.

She emphasized that the most suitable candidate for the role of MCE in Berekum East Municipality is Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakar, the Bono Regional Women Organizer, due to her selfless leadership and significant contributions, which led to the NDC’s resounding victory in the region.

They are, therefore, appealing to President Mahama to acknowledge her commendable efforts with the MCE appointment, thereby inspiring them to strive even harder for the development and progress of the NDC in the Bono Region, ensuring another resounding victory in future elections.

Madam Fosuaa Mary, the Jaman South NDC Women’s Organizer, remarked that Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakar embodies the qualities of a unifier, humility, diligence, and affection.

Her attributes, coupled with her tireless efforts and selfless leadership, significantly contributed to the NDC’s triumph in the 2024 election. Consequently, they implore the President to appoint her as the MCE for Berekum East Municipality, which would inspire the women of Bono to energetically support the NDC in various capacities, fostering the party’s growth throughout the region.
