Why the Government of Ghana must take immediate steps to fix The La General Hospital

GHANA = LA + WA + EJURA, where next?

Government of Ghana must take immediate steps to fix The La General Hospital and stop those disrespecting LA on La Lands.

This morning at about 10:15am there was a Multiple OKADA Motor Accidents a few metres from the RUINS OF THE LA GENERAL HOSPITAL.

As many as five (5) motorbikes were involved in the fatal accident.

The near dead victims could have been saved if there was prompt medical attention.

The near dead victims could have been saved if the LA GENERAL HOSPITAL was in operation.

The nearest hospital in the absence of the La General Hospital, were far away and beyond the ability of the victims to hold on to life for doctors to treat them…

Avoidable deaths recorded daily

There was no ambulance in sight as their friends and bystanders tried to crudely keep them from dying…

Shaking them, pouring water on them and attempting anything that came to mind in a desperate attempt to save their lives…

NO AMBULANCE IN SIGHT

NO HOSPITAL WHERE ONE STOOD RECENTLY.

The La General Hospital must be prioritised and construction started IMMEDIATELY.

The contribution of LA and LAMEI to national development and the continuous shortchanging of LA must stop immediately.

The disrespect shown LA, it’s Chiefs and People by the Health Minister, the Defence Minister and Lands Minister must be condemned.

While condemning the lackadaisical approach to the re-construction of the La General Hospital, special mention must be made of the gross disrespect of the Military High Command to the Chiefs and people of LA.

The speed with which the Military High Command rushed to WA to beg the Chiefs and people of WA following the assault of WA residents by the Military is the opposite of what the Military High Command has shown to the La Stool, La Chiefs and people of LA.

With IMPUNITY the Military is continuing the construction works at KPLETSO with even more vigour after the brutal assault of journalists and citizens of La by the Military on 15th April, 2021.

It will be recalled that Lands Minister claims to have written to the Defence Minister to instruct the Military to stop work at KPLETSO pending the outcome of the Joint Committee Work.

It will also be recalled that the Military High Command claimed to have launched an investigation into the assault of journalists and citizens of La by the Military yet there is NO REPORT nor sanctions against the violent and unruly men in Ghana Army nor their Commanders especially those who ordered the deployment.

The Defence Minister and Lands Minister are obviously playing games on the KPLETSO issue.

The Lands Minister  actually LIED TO PARLIAMENT ON THE KPLETSO LAND ISSUE when answering an URGENT QUESTION posed by the La Dadekotopon MP and follow up by the Minority Leader and other MPs.

Samuel Abu Jinapor categorically stated on the floor of Parliament that, the KPLETSO LAND REPORT would be made public by the end of June, 2021.

Dominic Nutiwul on the other hand has deliberately avoided speaking on the KPLETSO LAND nor the KPLETSO ASSAULT issue;  yet has been on every media house speaking about the WA ASSAULT.

Unfortunately, the National Media Commission is also not working on the COLA PETITION for an INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION INTO THE KPLETSO ASSAULT with the speed with which they investigated the National Security assault compared to the Military Assault of Journalists and Citizens of LA at KPLETSOO during which the Military FIRED LIVE BULLETS at the unarmed civilians.

Strangely, the Ghana Police has also not conducted any investigation into the KPLETSO ASSAULT and FIRING OF LIVE BULLETS BY THE MILITARY which occurred in the presence of Senior Police Officers including Regional Director of Operations and Cantoments Divisional Police Commander, Kpeshie Divisional Commander.

Since then, the Military have proceeded with more IMPUNITY to assault people in WA, Shoot people at EJURA and Agbogbloshie.

Let’s ALL work to STOP THE IMPUNITY NOW.
