Otto Addo’s yet-to-be-named squad for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic are expected in the country later this week.
A statement released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday said they will undergo training for six days before their departure for Bamako in Mali for their campaign after camping on May, 30, 2024.
“The team will train at the University of Ghana Stadium for six-days before departing for Bamako on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.”
Their first game against Mali will take place at Stade 26 Mars in Bamako on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 7pm.
Their next game will take place four days later in Ghana at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024.
The team is expected to make a good impression after losing their last qualifier against Comoros last year.
Meanwhile, they have one win already.
Coach Otto’s squad for the upcoming qualifiers are expected to be unveiled this week.
