Be truthful about “Dumsor” to Ghanaians – Omane Boamah tells Gov’t

Or this Dumsor is power diabetes: where sugar/power is abundant but homes and businesses are lacking power?Liars!!!!” he added.
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has heavily descended on the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia-led government, for not addressing issues concerning the erratic power supply in the country.
According to Dr. Omane Boamah in a Facebook post addressed to Energy Minister Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday, April 21, Dr Boamah accused the NPP government of being deceitful and incompetent about Dumsor.
“Is this Dumsor Power Diabetes: Such that Power is Abundant but Homes and Businesses are Lacking Power? Your deceitful and incompetent Akufo-Addo Bawumia government cannot even be truthful about Dumsor!”, Dr. Boamah stated.
He further cited that, the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has confirmed that transformers are not the cause of the dumsor Ghanaians are experiencing.
“PURC says transformers are not the cause of the dumsor Ghanaians are confronted with. What justification can your NPP government offer Ghanaians for plunging Ghana into Dumsor when John Dramani Mahama provided enough power generation plants including the Ameri thermal plant which you have recently re-located to Kumasi and re-named?
