Black Stars to hold two behind closed doors training sessions before Madagascar game

The Black Stars opening game of Group I as it attempts to qualify to the 2026 FIFA World Cup commences against Madagascar at 16:00 GMT on November 17 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the itinerary for the Black Stars upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana takes on Madagascar on November 17 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi before moving out to play Comoros at the Stade de Moroni on November 21.

The Black Stars head into the qualifiers on the back of losing 4-0 to USA and losing 2-0 to Mexico in international friendly games.

The schedule released earlier today has players called up to the team arriving to camp on Monday, November 13 before a behind closed doors training session is held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, November 19.

The team jets off to Kumasi on Wednesday, November 15 and holds another behind closed doors training session this time at the Baba Yara Stadium.

A pre-game press conference is set for November 16 at 15:30 GMT and the team’s last training session is due to be held at 16:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium.
