Brighton Defender Tariq Lamptey To Organize U-15 tournament in Accra
The organizers have promised an upward adjustment of the prizes to increase the competitiveness of the tournament.
All is set for the third edition of the widely anticipated Tariq Lamptey U-15 championship which will take place on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Accra’s McDan Astro Turf La Community Park.
The occasion is one of the ways the Brighton & Hove Albion defender is giving back to the community and expressing gratitude for everything that the Ghanaian people have done for him throughout his football career. The diminutive defender has promised that this year’s event would be exceptional, with a large number of medical professionals anticipated to attend the location to provide health screenings for attendees and inhabitants of La Community in Accra, among other things.

Last year’s edition saw Tema Legends beating Ahosa FC in the final to win the giant trophy, GHS 4000 and two GOTV decoders with 6 months subscription.
With assistance from sponsors Remit Choice, Permafix, Access Bank, Multichoice, Samsung, Adidas, Asutuare Poultry Farms, Nest Urban Prime, Ansah Pharma, and alpay, the Tariq Lamptey Foundation is providing funding for the event.
