EMY Africa to hold first Expo in June

EMY Africa has launched a new product ‘2024 EMY EXPO,’ aimed at bringing businesses and business leaders across the globe together to trade both knowledge and products.

The three-day event will provide a premium marketplace for businesses, lifestyle products, and integrated consumer experiences for businesses.

The expo which will start on 14 to 16th June 2024 at the Accra International Conference Centre, will consist of a fashion show, concert, movie show, cooking competition, forums, sports and fitness set-up, music concert and  art exhibition.

Speaking at the launch, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EMY Africa, Mr. Kojo Soboh, called on business owners to take advantage of the expo to market their products globally.

Mr. Soboh said as the date falls on Father’s Day, there will be several activities for men like the men’s cooking competition between participants from Ghana and Nigeria.

“We will urge people to celebrate the men in their lives by celebrating them at the expo,” he said.

He revealed that management are focused on providing holistic brand visibility for businesses that will participate at the event.

Addressing participants at the launch, the EMY Board Chairman Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong said “From a businessman’s perspective, this expo represents not only a chance to exhibit our offerings but also a strategic investment into our future.”

He said the event will also create a platform for network among businesses, new relationships will be formed, and serve as a hull of knowledge and ideas where entrepreneurs meet to share ideas.

Dr Ofori-Sarpong added that businesses participating in this expo are sure of growth because participants will meet well accomplished business men to share their success stories.

He called on businesses in Ghana to book their ticket and register for booths before foreign companies invade the expo.

In attendance at the launch were Okyeame Kwame, Lydia Forson, and Elikem Kumordzie, Chris Albert Soboh (Head of Storytelling at EMY Africa), Yofi Grant (Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre), and Nii Nortey Owuo IV (Osu Mantse).
