Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek SC have set their sights on snapping up Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Poku, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
Poku joined the Porcupine Warriors from the second-tier side Nkoranza Warriors in 2020.
The 21-year-old has quickly established himself as an instrumental member of the team, scoring goals for fun.
The hardworking forward is reported to have caught interest from clubs in the North Africa region following impressive outings for the Kumasi-based side.
Zamalek however appears to be the club with much interest in the dead-eye forward.
Reports reaching GHANASoccernet.com suggest that the White Castle want the striker as a replacement for Mostafa Mohamed who has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray SK on loan.
Zamalek coach Jaime Pacheco is said to be pushing the board to acquire the Ghanaian youngster.
