Funny Face Allegedly Involved in Drunk Driving, Knocks Down 5 Pedestrians with One Feared Dead
In recent years, Funny Face has been entangled in a turbulent relationship with his baby mama, which culminated in a court referral for psychological evaluation due to the issues involved. Additionally, he has openly admitted to grappling with depression at one point.
Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, widely known as Funny Face, has reportedly been involved in a car accident at Kakraba Junction, Kasoa. According to eyewitnesses, the actor was heavily drunk at the time of the incident.
His car is said to have rammed into a mother and her two children, as well as two motorbikes.
Even though the actor emerged unscathed, eyewitnesses claim a life has been lost as a result of the impact which happened on the evening of Sunday, March 24, 2024.
An eyewitness, speaking to Accra-based UTV, described the scene saying Funny Face was driving under the influence, which led to the unfortunate collision.
Another video from the scene shows Funny Face being escorted away while bystanders gathered around the vehicle reportedly involved in the incident.
Funny Face gained prominence through his role in the popular sitcom “Chorkor Trotro.” He is also known by aliases such as SwagOn-Papa and Children’s President.
