Gbawe Stool moves to Reclaim Lost Lands

election2024

The Gbawe Stool is up in arms with what it terms “squatters” on its rightful stool lands. Armed with court judgments and official documents on its legitimacy of ownership of these lands, the stool is sounding warning to such squatters to endeavour to meet the stool for the rectification of documents on such lands they occupy with immediate effects.

These lands, the stool maintains, span from First Light near Kaneshie through Akoko Foto in Dansoman to McCarthy Hills. Led by its sagacious octogenarian Leader, Nii Adam Kwatei Quartey, the stool has indicated that occupants on the aforementioned lands, who fail to meet the stool for the necessary rectification of their documents, do so at their own peril.

Buttressing their claim with court judgements spanning from 1900 to date, the stool has indicated that these lands legally belong to it by right and custom.
