Girls, teachers in STEM to be honoured at Achimota

The joint programme will climax months of promotion of girls’ competency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) under the Girls’ STEM project.

Achimota Senior High School will on Wednesday, February 15 host the National Math & Science Quiz Competition and Teacher Excellence Awards.

The joint programme will climax months of promotion of girls’ competency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) under the Girls’ STEM project.

The project is under the auspices of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The theme for Wednesday’s programme is: ‘Quality STEM Education, Quality Life’.

The Guest of Honour will be the Ambassador of the South Korea, Lim Jung-Taek, with the Director-General of GES, Dr Eric Nkansah, and the Country Director of KOICA Ghana Office, Moo Heon Kong, as the special guests.
