Gregory AnkrahThreatens Legal Action Against Passion Airline Over Flight Delay

“I complained about the delay of the flight to a staff of the airline at the airport and mentioned taking legal action against the airline only for him to reply that it’s Ghana and the case won’t go anywhere moreover I don’t have money more than the Airline,”,,

Gregory Ankrah, the Chief Executive Officer of TNA Communications Ltd and I Trash Technology Limited is considering legal action against Passion Airline following an egregious flight delay that disrupted his plans and allegedly resulted in substantial financial losses for his waste management company.

Mr Ankrah’s scheduled flight, slated for departure at 2:00 pm after he checked in at 12:30 noon, finally took off at 8:50 pm from Tamale to Accra, arriving at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) at 9:53 pm. This delay, amounting to nearly seven hours, left Ankrah and other passengers understandably frustrated.

The situation escalated further as Ankrah detailed his grievances, expressing concern over the lack of appropriate communication and professionalism during the delay. According to him, the plane took off without the captains introducing themselves or providing vital information such as the altitude, estimated time of arrival, or reasons for the extensive delay.

Adding to the frustration, Ankrah revealed that upon landing at KIA, there were additional delays on the runway due to two planes boarding simultaneously, forcing passengers to wait an additional 20 minutes before disembarking.

“The plane took off without captains introducing themselves nor telling how high we were flying and estimated time of arrival.”

“I complained about the delay of the flight to a staff of the airline at the airport and mentioned taking legal action against the airline only for him to reply that it’s Ghana and the case won’t go anywhere moreover I don’t have money more than the Airline,” the young CEO narrated .

The delay reportedly had severe consequences for Ankrah, who claimed to have missed a crucial investment meeting for I Trash Technology Limited, a waste management company, after a two-year pursuit. A scheduled lunch meeting with an investor at Zen Garden in Labone was allegedly missed, leading to the investor expressing dissatisfaction and questioning Ankrah’s commitment.

“I’ve lost a huge investment for my waste management company, I Trash Technology Limited an investment I have been chasing for 2 years. I was to have a scheduled lunch meeting with an investor at Zen Garden in Labone only for me to miss my flight and for the investor to tell me I was not serious and had wasted his time waiting for our meeting at 4 pm.”
