Minister for Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah shocked the nation when he disclosed that he does not have full details on National Cathedral.
Speaking in an interview on Citi Breast Show (CBS) on Monday, the MP for Ofoase Ayirebi told Host Bernard Avle that “ I don’t have full brief on National Cathedral, I have asked for details”.
His comments has angered many Ghanaians including Social media enthusiasts some of whom described the once fine politician as a dishonest Minister.
The National Cathedral debacle continues to generate controversy owing to the inconsistencies in respect of how much state funds have been invested into it aside the private contributions.
The agitations by Ghanaians on the subject compelled the Trustees to brief the nation on the state of the Cathedral last week yet many Ghanaians have pooh-poohed the explanations describing the project as useless and waste of resources.
Meanwhile many are wondering how they “ordinary people” could access information on the Cathedral when a whole Cabinet Minister is bereft with information on the project .
