“Please don’t blame my Asante Akyem Central People 0000. They want me paa, but the People in the Album 3ne as3m no

Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, the self-proclaimed foot soldier’s president, has publicly acknowledged his defeat in the parliamentary bid for the Asante Akyem Central constituency. After being defeated for the second time by incumbent legislator Lawyer Kwame Anyimadu, Kofi addressed his supporters on his Facebook timeline, urging them not to direct their anger towards the people of Asante Akyem Central but rather on those listed in the voter’s roll.

In a candid admission, Kofi acknowledged that he was aware the “album,” referring to the list of voters, was composed of family and friends. Despite this awareness, he chose to run, and now, he has accepted the consequences of what he refers to as an electoral blunder.

“Please don’t blame my Asante Akyem Central People 0000. They want me paa, but the People in the Album 3ne as3m no. Family and Friends one but I decided to run on it, so I have accepted the Consequences,” read his Facebook post.

Prior to the election, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah faced legal troubles when he was arrested by the Office of the Special Prosecutor. The arrest was allegedly connected to accusations of gifting delegates money for the Christmas festive season. While media reports suggested that Kofi gave delegates 500 each, the Special Prosecutor has yet to disclose the details behind the arrest.
