I will not Resign from NPP, but I will still throw missiles after November 4 if – Ken Agyapong

“My supporters have been receiving threatening messages from some party executives both in Ghana here and even in the diaspora.

Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency and flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong has assured the rank and file of the party that he will not resign from the NPP, however, he will continue to speak against maltreatment to expose some practices that are making the party unattractive to the Ghanaian populace.

“I can still be a part of the NPP and give them missiles after November 4 primaries,” he stated.

Mr Agyapong urged the leadership of the party to desist from the machinations that characterized the super delegates’ conference, adding that, he would give the party a total showdown if the elections are not conducted in a free and fair manner.

“My supporters have been receiving threatening messages from some party executives both in Ghana here and even in the diaspora.

“I will entreat all of us as members of the party to make sure that whoever emerges as a winner will be on a fair grounds. I will congratulate the winner in that manner,” he noted.

He made the comments on New Day Television Show at Takoradi in the Western Region where his team recently held an event termed “the showdown walk”.

Mr. Agyappong emphasized that if the intimidation of his supporters persist, he will give the NPP a total showdown after November 4.

He appealed to the delegates in the NPP to vote massively for him, noting that he is the only candidate who can break the 8year jinx for the party in the 2024 general elections, he’ll also create job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth in the country to better their lots in life.
