Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has put an end to speculations about his future at Arsenal following his debut start for the team after his return from injury.

The Ghanaian in an interview after their game against Luton Town on Wednesday indicated that the rumours are without basis.

He expressed his joy about his stay in North London and plans to remain there as he sees no other imminent future away from Arsenal.

“I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I’m really happy to be here,” he told football.london.

He added, “I’m happy to continue playing for this club, I like Arsenal.”

The 30-year-old joined Arsenal from Atlético Madrid in 2020. The player has this season been challenged with injuries affecting his appearances on the pitch. He has made just nine appearances in all competitions.

He made his first appearance for the Gunners after his long absence late in March in Arsenal’s 6-0 win over Sheffield United at Bramall.
