Isaac Adongo: A True Manifestation of the Effects of Adonko Bitters: Part 1
It is interesting how graduates of NDC’s “schools under trees” are busily defending the mischief of their lot, the worst ever opposition, especially that they suffered the spinelessness of their Party that had been in power since December 31, 1981, until January 2016 with only a break from 2001 to 2008. For all the heinous years of gastronomic starvation and mental bankruptcy, coupled with unethical theft, debauchery, and enslavement, the NDC raised a corps of cadets twice as wicked as their predecessors, senseless, useless, and perfidious.
For them, it is not about how to run an opposition, but how to wreck a whole nation because their interests have been compromised and rendered ineffective by a visionary government headed by a President hailed as the best to ever reign in Ghana, and amongst the best three in the whole of Africa; His Excellency President Akufo-Addo.
By their effusions they shall be known to be under the stupor of a rather toxic combination of compounds and herbal extracts. It is my opinion that it rather does not seem coincidental that the brand “Adonko Bitters” was coined from the name “Adongo” for its toxicity and buzzing effect, similar to the manner that this failed MP carries himself. Sometimes I am inclined to believe that my opinion is true because it was only John Mahama, who awarded best farmers bottles of adonko bitters to booze their misery away in support of this stooge. I mean how can a legislator supposedly with “schools under trees” certificate be made a member of the august house of parliament? If it remained at that, it would be half the gargantuan embarrassment that he is to this nation, but the curse is far beyond human comprehension.
This incompetent braggart attacks Ken Ofori-Atta and Dr Ernest Addison with ineffective venom continuously without accepting the fact that his shamed NDC government under John Mahama squandered so much money. They even attempted to print one billion Ghana Cedis to run their election campaign. In light of their failure, they slacked the requirements for setting up a bank so that fraudsters operating as susu agents and others would play ball with them. The idea was to allow for the proliferation of banks in order to sweep people’s moneys to masturbate John Mahama’s eccentric ego that had blown out of proportion.
The result of this dubious maneuver was felt nationwide. The country became bankrupt and Isaac Adongo’s NDC government had to call in the IMF thieves to step in. NPP upon assumption of power in 2017 promised to extricate Ghana from the grasp of the IMF pseudolimbs. Ken Ofori-Atta took the necessary steps to generate enough funds to support the economy, and pay off the debt that had an interest element compounding in endless fold. Parasite contracts were cancelled, like the PPAs (power producer agreements) that were draining the coffers. These measures saved the nation billions of GHS that would otherwise have dissipated into the pockets of foreigners who continue to share profits with NDC persons.
During NDC’s tenure in office, Isaac Adongo’s affiliates at the Bank of Ghana with the blessings of the amateurish John Dramani Mahama printed special notes. He was in on the game when the latter was about printing one billion Ghana Cedis to fund his campaign. That he did not have a problem with. The unrepentant lazy student of John Mahama’s schools under trees, Isaac Adongo, can barely justify his position in society having colluded and connived with his cohorts to loot the nation in the worst government under the 4th Republic at all.
I just heard that he made a disparaging statement against Ken Ofori-Atta and Ernest Addison calling them thieves. What irony! He who the pot calls black must feel the pain being insulted by the worst in society and the laziest in thought. So what would you call NDC’s proliferation of quack banks in order to trap unsuspecting citizens and steal their money? When you have a hand in the perpetration of the most devious form of theft of innocent Ghanaians’ savings, you have no moral right to question the cleanup that has brought sanity to the financial sector. Recently, all moneys due depositors of Capital Bank were paid to the last pesewa. Some customers of the other defunct banks have been paid, and the rest will be paid very soon as per the recent directive of president Nana Akufo-Addo.
But for the pragmatic policies put in place by Ken Ofori-Atta and Dr Ernest Addison, in addition to the maneuverings of Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon Kwesi Amoako-Atta, contractors would not have been paid. Within the next couple of weeks, there is yet another payment going out to contractors, which will bring the total paid to about 80% of debts in the books. By that, backlogs from 2014 that were not paid by the thieves of the NDC and John Mahama will also be settled. Yes, President Akufo-Addo is paying all debts owed Ghanaians irrespective of their political colours. This is a President who is working for Ghanaians and not a specific group much unlike John Mahama. Yet Isaac Adongo has the audacity to call Ken Ofori-Atta and Dr Ernest Addison thieves when it was him, John Mahama, and others under the NDC regime who stole the national kitty and refused to pay contractors! NONSENSE!
How about the three billion Ghana Cedis made available by President Nana Akufo-Addo to support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)? Does Isaac Adongo know how this amount was raised? What an idiot! He cannot be credited with an iota of sense because he is as blind as a bat and as uncomprehending as a fool. All he can do is to shout senselessly whenever John Mahama squeezes the trigger.
So I say to the drunkard Isaac Adongo to do himself a favour and sober up. It is not an honour to have his name feature on that of a debilitating alcoholic drink. Like I opined earlier, I am told that the name, “Adonko” bitters, was coined from his name “Adongo” to depict the potency of this alcoholic beverage, and the terribly nauseating hangover it gives, much like his effusions. So I say to Isaac Adongo, “Just wear your diapers, stick your thumb in your mouth, and go to sleep. Lazy boy!!!”
