Mahama again! Says our Courts are now full of NPP Judges
Mr. Mahama who was speaking in an interview on TV3’s Ghana Tonight show on Monday evening said President Akufo-Addo, in the history of Ghana, has parked the courts with judges more than any government.
Former President John Mahama has fired yet another salvo at President Akufo-Addo insisting that the President has politicized the judiciary by packing the courts with more political judges. He said the development which has never happened in the history of Ghana is very worrying.
Mr. Mahama who was speaking in an interview on TV3’s Ghana Tonight show on Monday evening said President Akufo-Addo, in the history of Ghana, has parked the courts with judges more than any government.
According to him, the packing of the court with political Judges is the reason for the Public’s loss of confidence in the judiciary currently as evidence in the various public surveys by credible democratic agencies.
Mahama was however hopeful that a new Chief Justice would come and fix the broken judiciary that has been partly also caused by the current Chief Justice Anim Yeboah.
