Mahama begins ‘Building Ghana’ tour; engages TUC

‘Building Ghana Tour’ is part of his campaign to return to power in 2025.

Former President John Dramani Mahama will later on Tuesday, November 7 meet officials of the Ghana Trades Union Congress (TUC) as he begins a nationwide campaign tour dubbed ‘Building Ghana Tour’.

Mr Mahama will be in the company of officers from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for this engagement.

Though not much details were given about the meeting, it is believed it has a lot to do with the 2024 manifesto of the opposition party.

On Sunday, November 5 on Hot Issues on TV3, National Chairman of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketia hinted of a manifesto that is going to ensure a “strong economy”.

Mr Mahama’s ‘Building Ghana Tour’ is part of his campaign to return to power in 2025.

He is set to face Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and others in the 2024 elections.

Should he emerge winner of the elections, Mr Mahama will become the first Ghanaian president to be re-elected after losing previous elections.
