Mass failure: Only 26 out 633 students passed Tanzania law school exams – reports

Reports say the mass failure has been blamed on poor standards at universities in Tanzania. Before being admitted to the bar in Tanzania, graduates from the universities are required to pass the law school exams.

Tanzania law school has recorded mass failure of students in its exams, reports have indicated.

Local media reports monitored by www.africanentertainment.com revealed that only 26 out of 633 students passed exams at the law school.

The 26 students who passed represent a 4.1 percent pass rate, according to a report seen on the Mwananchi news website.

Reports say at least 342 students have told to resit exams.

Additionally, 265 students have been discontinued all together.
