MP for Binduri Dr Kuganab-Lem donates PPEs to constituents
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Binduri Constituency; Dr. Robert Baba Kuganab-Lem has donated some items to his constituents to help them stay safe and protected from the spread of the novel Coronavirus. The items include
- 50 Veronica buckets
- 10 boxes of face masks (containing 500 pieces)
- 20 boxes of examination gloves (containing 20,000 pieces)
- 50 gallons of liquid soap
- 25 gallons of parazo
- 10 boxes of kasapreko hand sanitizers
- 10 boxes of adonko hand sanitizers
- 400 bottles of 200ml Doxa hand sanitizers to support Health workers and constituents in the efforts to fight covid-19.
This adds to an earlier donation of money and 42 boxes of madar soap to the Health Directorate.
He did the presentation in person and was accompanied by a team of supporters from the constituency.
Dr. Kuganab-Lem said he funded the purchase of the donated items from his own personal resources, and that he has requested for funds from his share of the District Assembly Common Fund to be used to procure more logistics in the same regard, “that request is being delayed by the DCE, Mr. Yakubu Ayinga,” he stated.
He thanked the Health workers for their bravery, sacrifices and dedication to the health needs of the people of Binduri.
The Health staff after expressed their appreciation to the MP for the kind gesture and support he has always given them pledging to continue to work hard as always.
“Please remember to observe basic health protocol of hand washing under clean running water, use hand sanitizers as much as you may need them, avoid handshakes, maintain social distancing and stay home,” the MP further admonishsd them.
