MzGee Writes: I Didn’t get here as a Carbon Copy of Anyone

“I’d rather fail in originality than become a clone of another! I didn’t get here as a carbon copy of anyone, yet I have made a name for myself as one of the most revered in the space!

Renowned broadcast journalist and current host of United Showbiz on UTV, Gloria Akpene Nyarku Acquah, popularly known as MzGee, has made it clear that she is an original and not a copycat in the industry.

It is unclear what inspired MzGee to share these words on social media.

According to MzGee, she would rather fail in originality than become a clone of another person.

She further stated that her originality and uniqueness as a media personality have earned her a revered status in the media space.

MzGee did not stop there; she added that she will continue to learn and improve with every challenge. She also acknowledged that there are people who want to see her fail, but she believes that it won’t happen because it is God who ordains kings.

She emphasized that she will always stay true to herself, move at her own pace, and maintain her unique style.

The host of United Showbiz concluded by apologizing to anyone who might find her post offensive.

“I’d rather fail in originality than become a clone of another! I didn’t get here as a carbon copy of anyone, yet I have made a name for myself as one of the most revered in the space!

So after achieving all these feats, why would I want to or prefer to become an imitation?

It’s the work I know, it’s the work I will do. Forget the razzmatazz; it’s not my style to indulge in frivolities.

Yes, I’ll continue to learn and improve with every challenge (I know some of you want to see me fail badly, but you forget that it is God who ordains kings).

I’ll always be myself, at my own pace and in my unique style.

I’m sorry if that offends you!”
