Nana Yaa Agyeman: Wife of veteran journalist Harruna Attah dies at 62

She worked with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and later served as an editor with the defunct Accra Daily Mail newspaper, owned by Harruna Attah, who also served as Ghana’s high commissioner to Namibia in the John Mahama administration.

Nana Yaa Agyeman, the wife of veteran Ghanaian journalist Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah has died on Wednesday 17 August 2022 in Accra.

She died at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after a short illness, the family confirmed to Asaaseradio.com.

Nana Yaa, a younger sister of the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, was 62.

She left behind two daughters – Rahma and Ayesha Harruna Attah – and a husband.
