National Cathedral can bring Inter-Religious Conflict – Bishop George Ayeh
The Cathedral has been described as a unifying monument around which shared conversations on faith and on national transformation would be had.
The Founder and General Overseer of the Rivers of Life Ministry, Bishop George Nii Ayeh, has observed that the construction of the National Cathedral which is according to him is a good initiative on the part of the government can influence inter-religious conflicts in the country.
In an interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh he explained why President Nana Akufo-Addo should have initiated the construction of a chapel in every Constituency or District across the country before thinking of a National Cathedral for the country.
The Cathedral has been described as a unifying monument around which shared conversations on faith and on national transformation would be had. It will also serve as a rallying platform to promote deep national conversation on how to collectively build a progressive and prosperous Ghana.
The Bishop advised Christian’s to make the Cathedral an inter-religious center for all religious bodies which can unite the entire Christian body in the country because all religions are important and should not be judged by their way of worship.
He urged Ghanaians to support the idea of the construction of the Cathedral by donating wholesomely to support the Board of Trustees to raise the needed funds for the completion of the construction.
